CP Head

Cassie Puplett - Headteacher Governor

I have taught in three schools across Kent, Surrey and Croydon. I have a passion for practical, hands-on learning and am a Specialist Leader of Education.  I have two children, Izzy and Finn.

LB Gov

 Lucy Longley - Staff Governor

I am currently a year 6 teacher and have taught at Lingfield for nearly 8 years. Within the school, I have wider leadership responsibilities and am the KS2 phase group leader and also lead maths teaching and learning across the school.  I have a special interest in the use of mixed-ability groupings and love bringing learning to life in creative, exciting ways.  In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, photography and travelling around the world.

Caroline Henry - Chair of Governors/Co-Opted Governor

I have worked as a Project Manager in financial services for over 20, specialising in operations and regulation. Both my children have attended Lingfield Primary school and thrived.  One has now moved on to secondary school, the other still attends our lovely school.  I joined the governing body as parent governor in February 2013 and after a period as joint Chair in 2019, I took up the role of sole Chair of the Governing Body in 2020.  I work closely with the other governors, Mrs Puplett and the school leadership team to steer the school strategically with our pupils and wider school community at the heart of everything we do.

Sue Darney - Co-opted Governor - Curriculum

My professional life was spent in Wales, teaching English to G.C.S.E. level.  I was also a Head of Year in a large comprehensive school which meant that I monitored the academic progress as well as overseeing the pastoral needs of the pupils in my year group.  I belong to a number of organisations in the area and enjoy many aspects of the Arts.  I am a volunteer at Lingfield Primary School; listening to children read.  My grandson is a pupil at the school.

James Kearns - Co-opted Governor - Safeguarding & SEND

I have a child in year 3 and another one about to join the nursery.  Following an early career in biology and finance, I have worked in education for over 20 years.  I have worked as a Head of Year, SENDCO, and Assistant Headteacher before moving to Deputy Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead at a Secondary comprehensive. In April of 2021 I became Principal at Carew Academy, a school for students with Moderate learning difficulties.  In my spare time I enjoy sports and Bushcraft, running woodland skills courses for students with behavioural difficulties.

Anne Graziano - Co-opted Governor - HR & Stakeholders

I have two teenage children who loved their time at Lingfield Primary School, I really enjoy remaining connected to this positive learning environment.  I have a Masters in Personnel & Development and have worked locally in Human Resources for over twenty years.  I am proud to have been a ‘critical friend’ to the School as Co-Opted HR and Stakeholder Governor since 2016.

Holly Barradell - Co-opted Governor - Curriculum

I work as a secondary Assistant Headteacher, and my son currently attends the school.  I have a passion for high quality arts and cultural access for young people. I have an MA in Education and a fellowship with the Chartered College of Teaching.  I have also worked as an examiner, moderator and assessment specialist across exam boards and have governed at a Junior School where I was Vice-Chair with a responsibility for safeguarding.  I hope my experience will support us with preparing for Ofsted, reviewing the curriculum and strengthening secondary transition.

Claire Creed - Co-opted Governor - Curriculum

I am newly appointed to the Governing Body at Lingfield, but I am not new to primary school governance; I have over 10 years’ experience in Surrey and West Sussex and I am very excited to be able to use my skills and experience to support Lingfield. I am a linguist and worked for over 15 years in the European Freight industry before taking a break to bring up my two children. When I’m not working, I love travelling, skiing, walking and good food with friends.
