The LPSA

Bringing our community together to help every child achieve their Personal Best.

The Lingfield Primary School Association (LPSA) is our school’s Parent–Teacher Association and a registered charity (Charity No. 1104366 ).

Made up of parent volunteers, the LPSA works alongside school staff to organise events and raise funds that enrich opportunities for all pupils. Our work reflects the school’s values of Respect, Resilience and Relationships, strengthening the sense of belonging and community that makes Lingfield Primary such a special place.

By working together, we provide additional experiences, resources and opportunities that help every child thrive.

Get Involved with the LPSA

The LPSA is all about community, belonging and supporting every child to achieve their Personal Best. There are lots of ways families can help and every contribution makes a difference.

You could:

✔ Volunteer at an event (even for an hour)
✔ Help organise fundraising activities
✔ Share ideas or useful contacts
✔ Support fundraising initiatives like EasyFundraising
✔ Donate pre-loved uniform or clothes for collections

Many parents help occasionally rather than joining the committee — and that support is invaluable.

If you would like to get involved, please speak to a member of the team on the school run, pop a note in our postbox outside the children's entrance or speak to you class rep. You can also contact us at:

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers. Whether you can help occasionally or more regularly, every contribution helps strengthen our school community and the difference we can make.

Supporting the School Community

There are many simple ways families can support the LPSA. Small actions from many people can raise significant funds for the school.

EasyFundraising

By accessing your usual online retailers through the EasyFundraising app, brands donate a percentage of your purchase to the LPSA at no extra cost to you.

Second-Hand Uniform

Our pre-loved uniform shop runs every Friday at school drop-off. Families can pick up good-quality uniform for a small donation while helping reduce waste. To access the shop, pop to the dinner hall via the Year 3/4 entrance.

Stikins Name Labels

Lost property is common in every school. By purchasing Stikins labels using code 11985, items are more likely to find their way back to your child and the LPSA receives a small commission.

Rags2Riches Collections

We regularly collect unwanted clothes and shoes which are weighed and converted into funds for the school.

Match Funding

Many employers offer match funding schemes, where companies match money raised by employees for registered charities. If your workplace offers this, please consider nominating the LPSA.

Some companies also offer volunteering days which can be used to support school events.

Regular Donations

Some families and extended relatives choose to support the LPSA through regular donations. If you would like to set up regular donations you can do so using the following account information:

  • Lingfield Primary School Association (Barclays)
  • Sort Code: 20-23-97
  • Account Number: 53461904

LPSA Events

Events are our largest source of fundraising and an important part of building strong relationships across the school community.

Throughout the year we organise a variety of events for pupils and families, including:

  • Festive Friday Christmas Fair
  • Spring Fair
  • School discos
  • Quiz nights
  • Wreath making workshops
  • Hamper raffles and mufti days
  • Our much-loved Summer Colour Run

These events create memorable experiences for children while helping raise valuable funds for the school.

Volunteers are always needed to help set up, run stalls or support activities — even an hour of help makes a big difference.

How LPSA Funds Support the School

School budgets are increasingly stretched and resources can be costly. LPSA fundraising enables the school to provide additional opportunities and resources that enhance pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

In recent years, LPSA funding has supported:

  • Educational resources across curriculum subjects and classroom equipment
  • Playground improvements
  • Development of the school farm
  • New books for the library and book vending machine
  • Arts and creative materials
  • Computing and technology hardware

These contributions help ensure pupils have access to enriching experiences that support creativity, curiosity and confidence.

Current Projects

Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL)
One of our most exciting initiatives is supporting the introduction of OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning).

This programme will transform lunchtimes by creating richer outdoor environments where children can explore, take risks, collaborate and develop resilience through play.

Books and Reading

Every year, we continue to support the school’s commitment to reading through:

  • classroom libraries
  • new books for the library
  • support for the school’s book vending machine
Technology

We are also working towards supporting a phased iPad rollout to enhance digital learning opportunities across the school.

Our Shared Impact

The LPSA plays an important role in strengthening the partnership between families and the school. By working together, we create opportunities that support pupils’ development, wellbeing and enjoyment of school life.

Every event, donation and volunteer contribution helps enrich the experiences available to children at Lingfield and supports them in achieving their Personal Best.
