Religious Education (RE)
At Lingfield, we aim to develop thoughtful, respectful children who can engage confidently with diverse beliefs and worldviews.
In Early Years and Key Stage 1, children explore key religious stories, symbols and traditions, beginning to recognise similarities and differences between communities.
In Key Stage 2, children deepen their understanding of beliefs, practices and philosophical questions through enquiry and discussion. Visits, visitors and assemblies provide meaningful context for learning.
By the end of Key Stage 2, children demonstrate informed understanding, empathy and the ability to reflect.
