Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)

At Lingfield, we aim to develop respectful, resilient and emotionally aware children who are prepared for life in modern Britain.

In Early Years, children learn to recognise and manage their emotions while forming positive relationships.

In Key Stage 1, children build understanding of wellbeing, friendship and personal safety.

In Key Stage 2, children explore more complex themes including mental health, healthy lifestyles, diversity, citizenship and economic awareness. Learning to regulate and manage emotions plays a daily role at Lingfield, enabling every individual to contribute positively to school life.

By the end of Key Stage 2, children demonstrate maturity, empathy and informed decision-making.
